Blog Author

Hello! My name is Irene Wade, and I am an engineer by education, but wholeheartedly devoted to exploring the worlds of economics, finance, and energy. These three fields have become not just my professional pursuits, but a true philosophy of life. I created this blog to share my thoughts, discoveries, observations, and practical knowledge. It’s important to me not only to understand how the world of money and energy flows but also to explain it in simple terms. Here, on the pages of this blog, I strive to combine complex concepts with clear communication, so everyone can find something valuable — whether you’re a student, an investor, or just a curious reader.

Education

My journey into the profession started long before my first university exam. From a young age, I found myself asking questions: Why does oil cost what it does? Why do countries engage in energy wars? Why are some companies thriving while others are in crisis? These questions became the starting point of my desire to understand the underlying mechanisms of the global economy. I graduated from a technical university with honors in “Energy Engineering”, but I didn’t stop there.

Alongside my studies, I began diving into courses on finance, investment, and macroeconomics. It was like an exciting quest: you not only learn theory but also analyze real-world cases, studying market behaviors and identifying patterns.

Later, I pursued further education in international economics and financial analysis, which allowed me to look at energy processes not only from an engineering perspective but also through the lens of global economic interests. Currently, I continue my education by attending online programs at leading global universities, keeping up with the latest trends and technologies in my field.

Personal Interests and Hobbies

Beyond charts and analytical tables, I’m someone with a rich set of passions and a thirst for discovering the world. My heart belongs to travel, especially to countries where energy plays a key role in the economy. Whether it’s Iceland with its geothermal power or the UAE with its oil and solar ambitions — every trip becomes a source of inspiration and a topic for new posts.

Another hobby of mine is reading popular science literature and biographies of great economists and scientists. I’m not just interested in what they did but why — how their thinking evolved, what inspired them, and the mistakes they made. This teaches me to view my own projects and ideas not as finished forms, but as stages of evolution.

I also enjoy walking, yoga, and drawing, especially abstract art — they help me disconnect from the constant flow of information and restore my inner balance.

Goals and Ambitions

My main goal is to be a bridge between knowledge and people. I want to make complex economic and energy processes accessible for understanding and practical use. Even the most technical topics can be explained simply — if you truly understand them.

I dream of creating my own online platform, where people can not only read articles but also take my exclusive mini-courses, participate in interest-based clubs, and exchange ideas. I see myself not just as a blogger, but as a mediator between academia and practice, between dry statistics and real-world solutions.

In addition, I plan to create a documentary series on how energy is shaping the world: from coal mines to green power stations, from economic crises to sustainable development. I believe that through stories and visuals, you can convey much more than just a single article.

Perhaps my biggest ambition is to inspire other women to engage in economics, science, and engineering, without fearing stepping beyond traditional roles. We can do anything if we know where we are going and why.
